No preference here. What I'd like to do next is to have a screen to compare government bonuses. No idea how to do that easily... which is ironic because XML is supposed to make things way easier.

Huh i exported the planet hab data, and loaded the csv into gimp after hashing it with perl and printing from libreoffice calc. (game version 1.3.1.1.01)

So a general theory of diplomacy is that if I have a 40% diplomacy, then the diplomacy percent is just a bias on the racial debuff.

Yeah, it wasn't until I wrote the forum post that I realized that I really don't understand planet generation.

For one thing, the 2.2% chance for a rocky desert world seems too low.
I don't really know if the game calculates number of orbitals, then has a percent chance for each planet type, or ...

Your spreadsheet lists the percent chance for each planet type. It was listed in "stars."

Since I wanted the flat percentage chance of a planet type appearing, I've done that calculation.

For a generated galaxy, a random star has a .66% chance of having an Ocean planet. Dunno if I needed to ...

similar problem on dw2 1.3.4.3

I'm zoomed in enough to see the grid which the ships should appear on, but instead they bounce around while warping at 200K.

yeah would be nice. I only need this feature because picking up battle debris is easier by using a manually controlled fleet, stopping it, then automating the fastest ships to pick up the debris. Otherwise, I'm helen keller trying to feel out each piece of debris. wuaauuah.

Bump. Game is running good, but I often want to know how long it takes for my fleet to travel.

"Good" hyperdrives are 400K in speed, but I've speed tested it in game, to .65M per day . What gives?

In Tallaan system, I had to warp out, because enemy had numbers. Enemy warps to my new position, and then dead stops with "No Orders".

Been playing for 50 years or so, I've had a scout ship in the system for quite a while while fighting another war.
