Re: Quick Questions Thread

General question,

I am playing Road to Misnk and on turn 2, no matter how well I position my Ground attacks or even if I let the AI do it.
No damage is done to the unit, nada, I select them to attack units and despite me selecting a hexe where there are soviet forces, the Ground attack party never ...

Re: How to Organize units

In reply to the last 2 post.
Not to mention having to assign them to a general that is at least within their proximity.

But like the last person said, they become more organized as the war drew closer to an end, remember that the war lasted almost 3 years, each turn is 1 day, that's over 1000 turns.

Re: To Have Replacement On or Not, that is the question

The Trade-off: Replacing is much faster but usually results in a small loss of XP, depending on whether the men come from the Pool or the Reserves.

My AI professor taught me that replacements must come from an RSV unit. Is that incorrect??

Re: Quick Questions Thread

Hi. I understand that this game is more like WiP:AE than WiTE2, but after watching a few videos, a question arose:

Is there an option in the game to create new units yourself from the manpower pool and armaments (like the Soviets in WiTE2)? Or is there only historical units in the game and you ...

Re: Fighting off the raving Fascists, Monarchists, and Religious fanatics!

There are only so many movement points per unit, the higher the cost then the longer it takes to get there. The movement picture that I have attached shows the movement rate per hour, there are 24 hours in a day but I don't know if only so many are used since people should sleep. I usually ...

Hello Team,

I wanted to share something that I finally understood about logistics, hoping it might help someone else too. If I've made any mistakes or misunderstood something, please feel free to correct me.

Re: Fighting off the raving Fascists, Monarchists, and Religious fanatics!

Earlier in this AAR, I turned an infantry battalion into a "mountain" battalion by removing the vehicles. I did not change the infantry squads, I just made it move completely on foot. The areas in pink show the difference in movement costs. The same movement costs occur even if there is a ...

Re: How to Organize units

It's already extremely tedious in just getting the units to be within the same hexe, god I don't want to learn to start finding ways of detaching units and remerging them with other HQs.

Also, the possibilty of creating your own custom companies, division, brigates or even modify current ones ...

And don't forget to do an AAR....GP

It's my first ever game, what's the best way in doing it?

We wait for the game to finish ? And during the game, we take screenshots whenever something happens ?
Because posting every turn will get repetitive and also gives my opponent an idea of what I am ...

Coal is a fuel for ships, I thought that I read somewhere but not necessarily the manual that the LI uses part of a unit of coal.

But you can ship Resources to Germany for more supplies . . .

Some ships use coal for fuel.

To Have Replacement On or Not, that is the question

Hey gang,

I just learned this and someone else learned it at the same time as me, so though maybe this could help others.

1. "Replacements: Off" Does NOT Stop the dissabled squads being fixed and ready for battle.
By default, replacements are turned off at the start of a round.

Disabled ...

LuciusSulla

I saw that you sent me a PM, however I am still a new user and it won't let me send any PM messages yet.

But yes, I would be very happy to play.

Maybe we can talk on the Matrix official discord ?

First ever PBEM

Anyone want to try their first PBEM with me ? I just got the game, am still learning the basics, I am quite busy, so depending on the scenario, maybe 2-3 turns a week, maybe more.
Something really small at first just to get my feet wet.

Looking for a friendly, time taking challenge :)

You might now see 1 giant blob, however, do not fear, for if you click on unit organization, you will see this:

As you can see, all of them are still broken down into sub units, you can actually click on each of those ...

Re: Manual typos/edit suggestions

Hey gang,
rather than do my own post, ill just piggy bank off this one.

Manual says to see 7.6.4 under Pilots.

However the manual goes from 7.6 to 7.7 right away, there is no in between.

I do see a Pilot screen under 7.7.3.

Not a big deal, it's a huge manual, typos were bound to happen but just ...
