Macro Game?

<t>I'm considering the possibility of running a Macro Campaign and I was wondering if there was any interest in it. <br/>

Basically each player would command a battalion size unit. These units would move on a Macro campaign map (1 km per hex). In each Macro turn a unit could move or attack ...

<t>I'm looking forward to this game. Question; will this game be a add on to the SPWAW, or a different rework of the SPIII game? Also what if anything has been done to the way helicopters work? IMHO helo could make SPIII games very unbalanced.<br/>

Thanks for the effort<br/>

New terrain types

I have seen in some newsgroup posting that there are several new terrain types including, stone walls, bocage (sp?). I was wondering if these will be hex edge terrain, or will they be the center hex terrain, like all previouse terrian types.

<t>In SP II units are allowed to exit from any edge hex (possible just their side?), but in SP III units must exit using the Exit Hex. I didn't like the fact that retreating unit had only one hex to retreat from, it seemed more realistic that they could just leave the area of combat. But I do like ...
