New to Tigers on the Hunt - Can you Correct OBA?

Just getting started with TOTH. I was wondering if there was a way to correct OBA after you call for it or does it just land where it lands and that's it?

RE: Operation Cartwheel-New Georgia Scenario

The Enemy planes were a problem the first few times around but upgrading one of the fighters to a F4U allowed it and the other F4F to make short work of them. The 2 TBF's I had were great air support when armed with bombs.

RE: Operation Cartwheel-New Georgia Scenario

<t> I struggled a lot with this scenario my first 2 times at it and thought that the 45 Turns Airfield Capture secondary objective was just plain impossible. I then changed my tactics and not only completed the scenario but got the airfield in 45 turns. This is what Idid.<br/>

RE: Next Impressions

<t> I tend to agree. I would like to see a Japanese Atack bonus for 1941 through 1942. This would create the historical Allied "hold the Line" Strategy to hold until the reinforcements arrive along with the Japanese "run wild" strategy to milk that bonus and conquer as much territory as possible ...

RE: Starwars VII OR a patch for panzer corps?

<t> Are there still plans to issue the IPad patch that will allow custom difficulty to match the PC version? The lack of that ability has caused me to remove PC from my IPad. I enjoyed playing on the IPad but the lack of custom difficulty made the DLC campaigns very unenjoyable after 1943. Last we ...

RE: frontline the longest day 1st patch soon

<r> Sadly, I got the update front 1/27 and it seems to create more problems than it fixes. This i what I posted on the Slitherine forum, too bad this had potential but was released less than half baked.<br/>

RE: Ipad SAve Game File Transfer

Could you at least make the file formats compatible???. I was able to get my save game off the IPAD but the PC version would not load it.

Thanks,

Kevin

RE: Very High Prestige Normal as Yanks?

Don't worry and don't waste it. I thought the same thing but then blew through close to 20k prestige in the final few scenarios. Once you get to France, lift gets rough and upgrades start coming and they are expensive.

Ah, perhaps these are not shadows of what will be but shadows of what MAY be. Perhaps by a key decisive victory we may yet sponge away the writing on the stone [;)]

RE: Panzer Corps: Afrika Korps first peak!

<r> All in all I do agree with what you are saying, up to DLC '45 that is. <br/>
<br/>
Max 86 stated:"This game is a simple test of how you do against history." Now while you do have the ability to do that up to 1945, unless there is an alternate ending based upon performance the BEST you can do ...

RE: BORING

<t> I have to agree a bit with RPKUPK a bit. I've very much enjoyed the '39-'44 DLC but I have to admit that I'm wondering if I'm going to be getting '45. DLC '44 was a grind but it was a fun grind with the new units, King Tiger and Me-262 to make use of. Even so, the last few scenarios were a grind ...

RE: ATI difficulties

<r> The flickering happens in both the game menus and on the battle map itself. I can't give you an example of the menu problem as when I take a screen shot it looks fine. Its like the image itself is ok but jittering about on the screen in a manner similiar to brownian motion. Thus when I grab just ...

Video Problems with ALL Close Combat Games - Unplayable

<t> Hi all,<br/>
<br/>
I am having MAJOR video issues with ALL my close combat games. The symtoms are that in the menu screen the whole screen flickers and when you start a battle, the game screen also flickers and the team data screen looks like it melted. When I click on a team, the icon clears ...

RE: Defensive Play and Auxiliary Units

<t> I tend to go back and forth on this. Bagration pretty much destroyed the German Army in the East so it fits from a historical perspective that you should watch all your experienced German units get destroyed during the scenario and then have to start the next scenario with reformed green units ...

Bulge Stalemate? Germans won't attack

<t> So though I've generally been enjoying the game quite a bit I hit an odd thing in the Bastogne scenario. I held the Germans off in the Campaign but I liked the scenario so much I decided to replay it. This time I smashed the first wave but now am in a bit of a stalemate? I've setup for the next ...

RE: Gettysberg

<t> There is one theory that Picket's Charge was supposed to coincide with the attack by Stuart's Cavalry on the Union rear. It does make a bit of sense. With a mass attack coming at them from the front, had they then been hit behind by Stuart, thiings might have gone badly for the Federals ...
