I have not started playing 5.3 yet, but I have a question. If it is going to take longer to attack why not go into the editor and increase the turn lenghth of a scenario.

I tried decreasing infantry toughness in 5.2. It made the infantry too vulnerable to artillery and other heavy weapons and did not increase casualties from rifles or light MG's very much.

I have tried playing 5.01 with infantry toughness at 140% and artillery v. soft targets at 140%. This seems about right to me. Maybe cover could be more of a benefit to defenders.

I noticed this feature. However when my unit says that it sees 0 enemy units, I and still use the target mode and it will select possible targets. In addition, I can scan the enemy units and if visible by my unit a crosshair will appear.

AI in SPWAW 2.1

i have been playing the Strongpoint Bleinheim scenario. The AI (German side) is by far the best that I have seen in a steel panthers series game. Great Job Matrix Games.

I just noticed in the notes to version 2.1 that I can turn off the artillery sounds by playing with fast artillery preference on. However, I like playing with fast artillery off. Can the sounds be adjusted any other way. Thanks in advance and for the great game.
