RE: MWiF Map Review - America

<r> I have the distinction what working with many people from NFLD and I harrassed them for first hand accounts of the terrian there. After many, many hours of discourse, here is what I have come up with.<br/>

RE: Unit Descriptions: Air, Naval, Land

Steve,
&nbsp;
The JU-87B counter is displayed in the example. The description states that some were converted to a -C varient for carrier operations. The aircraft type states that this -B varient example is a carrier plane. Is this an error, contradiction?

<r> Thank you; good job on the maps.<br/>

I wish to add some detail to the prairies if I may. I only make these recommendations because I know that today, these are significant navigational obstructions. In the 1940s they were exceptionally difficult.<br/>

RE: MWiF Tutorial

<r> Food for thought regarding the format the tutorial is presented in:<br/>
<br/>
I like SamuraiProgrammer's detail and c92nichj suggestion of using the Spanish Civil War or some other "game in progress" as Steve suggested. So to combine all this why not have the tutorial cover a single game turn ...

RE: Maps for MWIF

<t> The terrian tiles look terrific! Super job. Certainly the desert mountain tiles could be darker but frankly I think that is very subjective because I feel they still get the message across to the player. Looking forward to see the hex grid set, all the various icons set correctly, the rail lines ...

RE: Maps for MWIF

<t> Big thumbs up! The mountains are terrific. The swamps are much better and definately distinctive from the clear/forests now. True the forests may be better (very subjective) if they were a darker shade of green but I can see why this would then blend them more closely to jungle terrian. Frankly ...

RE: MWIF Game Interface Design

I would like the replacement to occur automatically with a message stating as such.

I am curious, does the replacement occur at the port the vessel is currently at or does the replacement show up in the nearest home port to where to vessel is?

RE: Unit Depictions on Screen

This is looking real good. I see the units themselves are fitting into the hex proper. Was this a result of the full hex pixel display? The Port symbol is terrific. Good use of the unit symbol. [:)] The 10-5 armour hex is in fact holding 2 units?

TBF-4
TBF-5
Those must be "what if" improvements of the TBM-3 if the war was longer.
No info, no profile.

These have even more versions than the Airacobra. The question then is which one to use?

RE: AI for MWiF - USA

<t> Could the human to AIA be as easy as selecting strategy from a list? Maybe select your top three picks for the AIA for each allied nation/power and then leave the AIA to do what it can with a percentage chance that it would do one of the other picks? For example a possible list for Japan could ...
