<t>I have a bad habit of comparing the Kill numbers of SPWAW with Advanced Squad Leader (ASL). The numbers have always been consitent in ASL and to the best of my knowledge the T-34 with the 76mm gun had bad penetration numbers. It got better when the barrel lenght increased but not much. The big di...

What one is better.

I know what a firewall is but I am not sure about the mailwasher. Is it true that the more programs you have running the slower your PC? Should you have both programs or one or the other? Do you guys use both?

<t>I just got Operation Veritable. It's an historical study style campaingn game.My favourite campaign game is Red Barricades. This game allows so much more than SPWAW. There are pros and cons to both games. Either way you look at it they are both lots of fun. I have all the modules to the game and ...

<t>Excellent post Ammo Sgt and very good info. Some other things to remember when it comes to shoulder Anti-tank ordnance. Speaking from experience with the 84mm Carl Gustav. Yes it is a bit more modern but the same principles apply. The iron sites have to be bore sighted properly goes without sayin...

<t>Charles 22<br/> I think what Les the Sarge was getting at is people who don't know much about it will have all the information at their fingertips. Not to mention making it easier for Panzer Leo to answer questions. In some ways PL will be less busy because he won't have to answer the same questi...

I only play on the 100x240 only PBEM. I like to purchase my own stuff. Usually only 25 to 30 turns. Loosing an entire rifle coy is not uncommon. Highly recommend it. I am just waiting for the new H2Hfr to come online.

So what your saying is that you wanted him to fire HE first and not the carbine? How many men left in the bazooka squad? Maybe there is a minimum requirement of personnel?
I ran into problems with the mortars too but not this game.

<t>Thanks for the pic Ozel. I guess maybe if a .50 round went into the muffler. I am guessing the muffler is dead middle and the towing hook is u-shaped above it and on either side. Looks like the towing hook is always in the up position when not in use.<br/> I guess theoretically a small caliber ro...

Pershings (rear shots)

<t>Anybody have a picture of the {rear} of a Pershing tank or ever seen a real one. I just lost one in a PBEM game to a .50 cal MG. It was a rear shot and both hexes where on the same level. I know it's a game but is it physically possible? The range was 5 or 6 hex to the best of my knowledge. Using...

Most memorable moments in PBEM games

<t>I was hoping other people could list their most memorable game turns or series of turns in PBEM games. I used H2H. Please specify what version you are using.<br/> I will give you an example of a few of mine. Keep in mind I only play on the big 100x240 maps.<br/> #1 I caught an artillery park with...

Not totally confused but the analogy of how it works is excellent. I see said the blind man. Thank you very much for taking the time to explain it to me. My knowledge of how the web and email works is very limited. You have just helped me expand that knowledge.
