I shall try your suggestions and see if it make things work out. Yesterday I was thrown out again, this time it was a single scenario during a bombardment. <br/>

<t>Well I don't think the performance of my PC is the problem. It's only 6 months old, 800MHz, 128 RAM, Geforce2 32MB, etc... Have never experienced problems with any game before. And there is a lot of GB left on my hard drive. <br/>

<r>Hi Pack Rat and thank you for investigating. <br/>
Yes, it is units fireing smoke. The first "smoke and throw out" happened during the first battle in the Stalingrad campaign. The other in a generated campaign 1941 where I played russians vs the germans. I must stress that this does not happen ...

Smoke and throw out

<t>I have a strange problem. In previous versions of SPWAW this has never happened. On several occasions when a vehicle or infantry have fired smoke, the game throws me out to windows and the game is shut down. Is there someone who can tell me why this happens or what to do about it?<br/>

<r>Why don't you take a look at Talonsoft's Operation sealion, the expansion for West Front. There are some really good scenarios and campaigns concerning the invasion of Britain and there is a great lot of job put into it. For all you who enjoy WF and EF, try the Operation Sealion as well. Perhaps ...

Finland campaign

<t>I have just read the book "1944" by Jukka Mäkälä about the summer war 1944 between Soviet and Finland. I bow my head in awe at the decisiveness of the fins struggle for defending their country. The book gives me the thought of a MC about this summer war as well as ideas about the fins OOB. Has ...

<br/>
In my opinion it was an ok movie. I'll give it 3.5 in a scale from 1 - 5<br/>

That sounds very reasonable chaos, I agree with you.

Buy the way, where did the german sub-machinegun go? It shines with its absence in rifle squads. I have always thought of it as quite common.

<t>I wonder where the high US exp/mor/lead come from in -44. Someone stated they had 70/70/65 where the germans had 70/70/70. Is that to say that six years of fighting didn't give the germans more upperhand on the US.<br/>

Where does the high US values come from? Most of the men landing in ...

Well I have never thought of my self as young in the ways of gaming. But I guess I have to change that view of myself, I'm only 27 this year.

Feels good to be a junior again :)

I agree with you. Let those tacticts-destroying-large-sons-of-guns only be available as a pre bombardement. Remember folks what a very wise man said at this forum. His exact words don't come to mind but the meaning of them were this: " The game shall not only be realistic, it ...

<t>We were aware of the problem that could arise if two different versions of the game were installed on our computers. We have seen such problems before and intended not to let it happen again. The installation proceedings were exactly the same this time, so that is not the problem. <br/>

<r>The online/TCP/IP play has some bugs. No doubt. It is still the greates way to have a really good time with SPWAW as I see it. Yesterday a friend om mine and I played a couple of battles. In the first we experienced the air entry bug. In the second game playing GE assaults FR in may -40 My Do ...
