Is it best to uninstall old version and do fresh install of 7.0 or just overwrite SPWAW? Amazingly enough, I got the CD on exact day email said I would.

<t>Thanks for the posting Wild Bill. Like Frank, these were missing for me also. Unfortunately I am already at the Elbe. I might have to go back and replay it now just to see if I can do any better since I have some idea of what to expect. I went in to a couple of missions with the absolute wrong ...

This is just a big thank you to all you scenario designers. I am one on the quiet ones Wild Bill was talking about, although I do know history. As long as I have a save button, keep the long scenarios coming. I can get immersed in these war games the same way as a good long book.

<t>Frank knew what campaign I was in <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> . It was the Long, Long Road to Victory. Started against the French, transferred to the Western Front and then continued against the Soviets after end of war with Germany. Still don't know of way to combat Joseph Stalin 3 tanks ...

Doom,

Great image, did you do it yourself and how did you put it in your message.

Bill

<r>I can find plenty of sites to get detailed info on the German tanks of WWII but have had no luck finding sites giving data on the Sherman. Like to find sites that detail the differences between the 75mm and 76 mm, Jumbo, Easy8's etc. Anyone know of any?<br/>

I taped the show so I can at least fast forward thru the political crap to get to the important minutes about the T-34. I am thankful to the History Channel for giving us anything at all on the T-34.

Might not be a campaign game. I believe it was Long Road from Utah? I am at work now and cannot remember if that is campaign or scenario.

<t>Continued against Soviets after war was over versus Germany. I had 3 Pershings and 2 3" AT guns firing at 1 JS 3 and just kept bouncing shells off the armor. Took 1 turn of each gun firing at least 4 shots just to disable the behemoth. Close assault with infantry disabled turret in second turn ...

Thanks for the quick response.

Bill

I read the faq and it says that search is available in most forums. I have not seen that option in the Steel Panthers World at War forum. Is it hidden somewhere?
