RE: do wargamers like city-building games?

I'm keeping this a secret, but ultimately I want the city to be the military industrial complex behind a turn based online wargame... ;)

Right. This is just so we can focus on gameplay right now. Have you checked out the two videos of our 3D engine?

RE: do wargamers like city-building games?

<r> Yep. I love wargames too and I love detail. In the demo, we represent the income, spending, and happiness of each and every sim. Firms produces goods, which trucks carry to their points of sale. The entire city is built up piece by piece by your workers, using the appropriate materials, which ...

do wargamers like city-building games?

<r> I hope this isn't inappropriate for this forum, but I used to be a regular poster here, and I was wondering if my game appeals to wargamers. It's along the lines of SimCity but contains much more detailed interaction between sims and businesses. Please check out our demo!<br/>

The only reason Japan could win the air battle is by using his carrier planes in the airfield duel. In my tests I've found if the allies returns in kind, and gets the proper support in, Japan can't win the duel with PM.

I was never able to airlift the vehicles (20 vehicles counts as 100 engineer squads!) or the heavy 40 mm AA which reaches above 5000 feet. I think radar also increases your CAP numbers pretty dramatically.

<t>U2 -- are you playing Mogami with subdoctrine on? could it be possible to reinforce by sea? I've found getting those engineer vehicles, radar, and 40mm AA in by sea (fast transport or slow) helps a lot with keeping PM alive. When pressed, I strip the fighters from my carriers to defend PM, and ...

undocumented spotting rules?

<t>How does spotting work, exactly? I'm noticing that LBA from Port Moresby tends to ignore task forces at Gili Gili. Rabaul LBA is also hesistant to attack south of New Guinea. Seems to me the New Guinea land mass does affect spotting. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it the mountain elevations, or ...

<t>I missed out on a great chance to chase you down near Lunga, because I got greedy and tried to maneuver out of your torpedo bomber range. The bad weather turn during the very first encounter was actually a godsend for ME, because I had all my Vals hunting your subs that turn! lol I'll never try ...

<t>As Japan, I might be motivated to make a dash for PM if only to lure his carriers into a decisive (and unfavorable) battle. His 90 cap carriers become much more formidable in as short as a month, as he gains a full complement of F4F-4 fighters, and as he gets better AA escorts. The carrier ...
