Re: HI failing due to lack of fuel

I never shipped fuel from China/Manchukuo to Japan because the production of fuel is about what they need for the industry.

I just checked my game that is now in Nov 42.
At the start China and Manchukuo had together 930K fuel and now they only have 545K left.
I think this is in part because of Task ...

Re: WitPTracker AE Release 1.11 Available!

QUESTION: From what I infer from both the Tracker documentation and some replies on the forum, I can/should use one slot (i.e., wpae003) and save over it making a backup numbered copy after each turn as per Tracker pointer and tips. Am I correct in this assumption?

Secondly, when I tried to clear ...

Re: WitPTracker AE Release 1.11 Available!

No idea how many turns. I always re-initialise when load times start to annoy.

To re-inialise simply delete all the db files (I've 6 normally) in the tracker folder and restart tracker. It will load from or default track save. If you have previous saves you can then re load these through 'Multi ...

Re: Switching Float Planes on Subs

I think that is no problem in the game but in reality it would not work because the Jake is much too big to fit in a submarine hangar.
I stay with the Glens because of this.

Re: SeaBee Alpha - WitP:AE Install & Configuration Application

Based and thanks to the solution by Jochen here is what I found out and what you can do to make SeaBee work without a problem.

Seabee saves in the file bin\data.sb when it looked the last time for updates and if you accepted the EULA.

Idea:We create this file every time we start SeaBee.

Solution ...

Re: SeaBee Alpha - WitP:AE Install & Configuration Application

Funny. Just as Jochen comes up with a solution. :D

I wrote it today new from scratch and just tried to recreate the look of SeaBee.

Update 09 July 2023:
I added some switches and edited the decriptions according to the great new manual. 8-)
I think the new switches will only work with the ...

Re: Max oil per Base

There is a maximum capacity for oil storage in a base.
In many bases it is 1000 times of the oil capacity. Example: Taihoku oil 8 and max capacity 8000.
If the capacity is reached no more oil is produced.
This is a least true for Taihoku, Shikuka and Boela.

But there must be another rule ...

Re: Old Timers

I started with playing Warship on my Atari XL in the late 80s as a teen.
I remember a guy sitting next to me in the school bus while I was reading the manual (I still own it 8-)). He said that he has some plastic models of the ships from the manual.
That same guy is now one of my best friends and I ...

Re: Full Size AE Planning Map and Game Map (Update 22.Oct.2010)

Will the planning map be updated for the latest patch from 11 2022?

Hi Yaab,
yes.
I already blew the dust off the old scripts and they still work.
But I planned to wait a bit because there seem to be further updates to the data and a map takes over an hour to build.

If you like to have one ...

Re: New! v1127 Public Beta Available

Wrong spelling of Hatsushimo in all scenarios I checked.
This was already wrong in the latest version before.

Ship #212 is Hatsushimo of Hatsuharu class.
At the moment it is spelled Hatsushima.

Re: WETT - an addition to tracker

The makros are mostly not necessary. Only for the ship building planner they are mandatory.
LibreOffice is at the moment not really compatible with the Excel file. The CSV files can't be imported and the totals are not displayed.

If someone wants to try:
You simply have to import the CSV files into ...

Re: WETT - an addition to tracker

All I get are errors when I try to run it

What I have figured out is your program WETTstart.cmd is flawed. It calls Java.exe, but in most systems that is not a 32-bit Java installation which is needed
for tracker to load a turn.

And then after than my old version of Excel does not support the ...

The forum seems silent on your work. Has anyone given you any feedback on this? I'm loath to tamper with tracker as it is so important to a Japanese player. Hal

WETT - an addition to tracker

New Version 0.9 - 10 April 2023

It is also much easier to setup.

Re: Change the ship build start time

The ship build time does not matter in the first place.
You set the delay date in the editor and that is the date the ship arrives if the player is willing to pay the price till the delay date.
If the ship delay date is early in the game while the ship has a high durability (for example Yamato ...

Re: Change the ship build start time

Here is a more technical answer:
Only two values are needed. Delay and Durability
In the editor Delay is a date. I use Delay in my examples as the number of days between the current date and the editor Delay date. Tracker does the same btw.

There are four shipbuilding phases.

Blue Print if delay ...
