<t> I strongly recommend scanning it in. Then put the diary away in a safe place. Those pages are over 50 years old now. The less you handle it the better. Of course then we can all enjoy the history.<br/>

RE: Another Trivia Question....

Also note that the original question is 'has been fired by any navy?', so actually even a Trident D5 would not count since I'm not aware that any Trident has ever been fired with a live warhead (NORAD is not returning my calls).

<t> I think you HAVE to start with the tutorial and smaller scenarios, just to get the feel for what's important and what's not, what the capabilities of the units are etc. I did the tutorial and the Coral Sea scenario from both sides before beginning my first campaign.<br/>

RE: USA

I managed to get San Francisco down to 500,000 fuel once. I was loading something like 2-3 tankers every day for a year and shipping it to PH and SWPAC. The interior USA was still maxed out. I never made a serious dent in the supplies though.

RE: Ordering/Shopping for ships???

<t> No you can't simply request a new ship. What this refers to is converting several of the large AK class ships to AS/AE/AR/MLE. At Osaka/Kobe and San Francisco (only) if you open the window for an individual Large AK you'll find several buttons down in the bottom left-hand corner of the dialog ...

RE: OT Internet Advice Required

<r> I believe the technology you are thinking of is a cell-modem. A cell-modem acts like a regular modem, but uses a cellular telephone connection rather than a regular land line. Cell-modems are really intended for very mobile users who may frequently be away from any sort of connection. In general ...

How to create a clearing?

<t> In the map maker tool is it possible to create a clearing? ie a parcel of open ground surrounded by woods.
