<t> Hey, Scott!!<br/>
Thank you for starting this thread. I am also one returning to game play (after retirement from Ministry) and need some of the same information. I haven't been fully able to return for some time, but have tried (unsuccessfully) to play intermittently. Even trying those ...

RE: THE THREAD!!!

Ah...
It pleases me that someone else saw my post, but not about the weather in Mass. Spent one winter up there in my old tincan undergoing some dockside repair/replacement. Colder than a well diggers tukkus. Been having problems getting back on the boards. Ah, Well.

And just when we should expect it here in S. GA., it cooled off. Must have dropped at least 10 degrees last night. WOW! Now we may need to get out the foul weather gear & Artic jackets. (You should have seen it in So. Fla when the temp dropped below 50!!!)

<t> Well, I am doing fairly well for 72 with a 20+ year old bypass. <t> Concur! When that show was on, my father was still with us... and he grew up in that time frame of that show. He would have been 100 years old in April. RE: I see no advantages to having 25 ship taskforces?

In my recent game in April 42 I had a two DD allied TF collide with each other - no combat . Both ships out for ages.

Believe Me! That is a lot better than experiencing that in real life!!

<t> Don't worry. I have been playing this game, and its predecessors for more that 50 years if you count the pre computer version which took a 10 x 10 room (at least) to set up the game and had a locking door to prevent the necessity of a "Paw of Cat" rule. This one is much easier, and also quicker ...
