RE: Recommendation On Operational Level Game for Dad and Son

<t> Is Panzer Corps more advanced than the old Panzer General? I played it years ago and found it too basic for my tastes? If so, it may suit him, but would definitely leave me wanting. I'm considering Decisive Campaigns Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris and Command Ops Battle of the Bulge. Which has ...

<t> He's 16 and a pretty bright kid with a decent knowledge of military history. Outside of RTS games, his PC wargaming experience has been limited to SPWAW, Close Combat, Crusader Kings, and Hearts of Iron, but he has some gameplay with old SPI boardgames like Barbarossa.<br/>

Recommendation On Operational Level Game for Dad and Son

<t> Looking for recommendations on a WWII operational level game I can play with my teenage son. One that focuses on combat, without resource building, political maneuvering and the like. I'm wargame savvy and the kid is maybe at the intermediate skill level. Not looking for great complexity, but ...

Playing MP via LAN

There was no mention in the manual of playing via LAN. Are there any specific instructions for setting up a LAN game? Excuse my ignorance, but I never play MP games and I'm not well versed in details. Thanks in advance!

<t>(Turn 9)<br/>
<br/>
In the northeast sector, the lack of mortar fire was the break the Soviets were looking for. Emboldened by this fortuitous turn of events they renewed their attack with vigor. It looked as if Lt. Maciolek&#8217;s forecast of doom was coming true as 5 squads of infantry and a ...

The radio crackled to life again, this time it was the voice of Lt. Maciolek from 1st Platoon in the northeast sector of the village. &#8220;They&#8217;re comin. Looks like a platoon of light tanks (BT-7&#8217;s) and a handful of trucks,&#8221; radioed the excited platoon ...
