Air supply will add support to cut-off BGs out of supply. You will rarely see it, and I missed eliminating it completely except in a few late-timeframe operations. Will only be available to Allies.

<t> Sorry, don't understand what your saying compared the picture you posted. The image shows the correct uniforms/ranks and mix of uniform colors associated with the Heer Panther highlighted. Do you have another image to help clarify the situation? The crew are all from the same branch (Heer), he ...

By design, carried over from Panthers in the Fog, reference p. 25 (section 9.1) of manual.<br/>
"In the case of 2nd Platoon, which may have a reduced number of slots available, the strongest units in the platoon will<br/>
automatically be selected." Also, see: <LINK link="http ...

RE: Platoon can't fill unit slots even though it has enough units to do so

The lower the difficulty (toward Recruit), the more slots you typically are provided (Steve, fix me if I'm wrong here). At some point you have to balance your decision for more armor (which could be available in 1st platoon) or more infantry as is the constraint with this particular BG.

RE: Platoon can't fill unit slots even though it has enough units to do so

Which difficulty are you on? This is a designed feature and the greater the difficulty, the greater the chance that the unit is depleted (that is at least the case based on my increasingly hazy recall).

RE: Line of sight.

Corn fields are a new element in Gateway to Caen and they have limited LOS. They are mentioned in the manual. You can't expect to have unlimited field of fire through a corn field because of the taller foilage associated with these crops.

RE: Adjusting weapons abs

<t> the first number under fire support (in Campaign.txt) is the index number of the weapon in the weapons file. Try radically changing some of the data for artillery and/or mortar and work backwards from there. The way that blast effect works in GtC and PitF is a bit different than Invasion ...

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>My sense is that the English player has to push through the relatively unsupported German infantry units and more or less run the entire campaign map very quickly. RE: Wheeled vehicles crossing Hedgerows

<t> Functioning as designed. You can argue the merit of whether this armored car should or should not be able to penetrate a small hedgerow (and I might agree with you), but given the number of hedges on the maps, most of which are "small" and the variety of assigned deployment areas, there would ...
