Are there any plans to have a larger beta test before the game goes live ?

I would love to test out the new game.

RE: SPM v 1.1.55 (Beta) now available

<r> Played the Nasa campaign with the new Beta and really like what you have done, especially with Mission Control.<br/>
My only 2 issues were that the Tiger Teams are a little too expensive (I had 1 mission that had 3 failures and it cost $75,000 to correct or as much as the Saturn 5 Program).<br ...

RE: 0.8.2 USA Campaign Mission Lockup

Here's what I mean about when you are assigning Ground Control guys to the mission, its says like Fido and then Fido below it, that's strange and the font is interposed--- screenshot attached.

0.8.2 USA Campaign Mission Lockup

<t> I've been testing out the USA campaign and it looks good. Only strange thing that I've seen is now when you are assigning Ground Control guys to the mission, its says like Fido and then Fido below it, that's strange and the font is interposed in the Mercury missions but OK in Gemini.<br/>

0.8.0 Possible Bug

<t> Hi Guys,<br/>
<br/>
Game is looking great but I may have found a possible bug.<br/>
<br/>
On the Gemini Eva and Docking Mission it won't let me assign controllers because it says that I need at least 13 controllers available, but I do. I can play the mission before and after no problem but ...

RE: Newcomer saying Thank You, Also with a Few Thoughts

<t> Wait until you start playing the latest version of the Beta (0.7.19.4), it is like a totally different game. They have put a ton of work into this and the NASA and USSR race to the moon pieces are almost there.<br/>
Some of the "what if" ways to the moon are in there--for example this weekend I ...

That's wierd, Filezilla sees it fine but my browser does not. I'll use Filezilla from now on.

Well I have it now.

Thanks,

RE: How to easily screw up your sandbox game...:)

<t> True but the biggest thing that I have found that will kill you is <br/>
expanding buildings too fast, hiring too many staff and training them up too fast, and having too many programs open (they all cost money to maintain). Always close programs and rockets that you aren't using and remember ...

<t> I loaded up 7.1.7 and started testing for "a few minutes" using the Normal Nasa sandbox. I looked and 4 hours had passed !!<br/>
I must say that the "fun" factor is here and I love that the scientists and mission controllers start at lower skill levels and you have to train them up---that adds ...

RE: I give up

<t> I have to agree with the OP.<br/>
<br/>
I love Civil War games and own most of them that have come out over the years. I also really enjoy Gary Grigsby's games like War in the East that have a high learning curve and a lot of micromanagement.<br/>
But I must agree with the OP that the ...

Another mouse over text that would be nice is over your buildings on the main screen. Except for the VAB, they all look similar and I keep having to check and see which is which.

RE: Why so many CSA losses?

<t> One thing that you might want to check is that all of your troops are Infantry and not militia. What i always do is move my militia to either Washington or Manassas and with the Theatre Commander and Army Commander, they get trained up quick. I then move the Infantry to the Generals all over the ...
