Barbarossa 2.0 AKA Nato vs Putler

Hi
was just wondering if anyone works on a NATO versus Putler scenario.
Would really like to see how fast the bear can be slayed in his cave.

What's the plot?

Just wondering, some scenario descriptions are capturing in explaining the situations. Now I wonder if there is an overall plot why WW3 started on 20th July 1989.

Re: Operation Neva - Leningrad 1944

The back and forth movements by the Russian fleet in their "small pond" resulted in this turn in fire from German coastal batteries and massive casualties. I think I sunk +5 destroyers and 1 or 2 heavy cruisers. I would say that the AI may need some support here. Maybe locking them for the first few ...

Re: Operation Neva - Leningrad 1944

A little question, I wondered about a type of artillery unit found in the Luftwaffen Divisions. It is listed as "7.5cm L/36 PaK 97/38(f)". Of course it irritated me that an AT device is in an artillery unit but the device has a bombardment range and so seems to be usable as artillery device.
But ...

Re: Operation Neva - Leningrad 1944

Long time, is there maybe a newer version of the scenario then 1.3 or maybe a beta?

Re: Operation STARLITE

Having a hard time doing this scenario.
How do I go in for an objective? Some seem easy as cake but others seem like I need some tactical nukes.
1. Close in to reveal Charlie?
2. Pound it with everything I have?
3. Assault with 1 company or 1 bat. per objective?

Btw. It would be good if the ...

Details of loaded units?

Well can I find that somehow out?
Would like to know what unit a chopper has loaded for example, best I could come up is to check the organization dialog and work myself through the OOB to have the unit marked at some but so I finally know it is not only Marine Platoon 65 but 2nd Platoon of G ...

Re: Axis players guide.

The guide notes there should be 6 artillery per infantry corps. I assume this comes fro the limit of SUs that can be contributed to a fight, but is that artillery class only or do mortar & werfer count too?

Re: AI assitant following user ADs... not

Maybe there is something wrong with Odessa. At least I can't even set Odessa to be a naval target for the AOG at Constanza, although it even lists Leningrad as possible target.

Re: New player - How to set supply priority for air bases?

Well the latest living manual I have still notes under 16.6:
"As set out in section 6.4 one option is to right click on the hex and then select the
named airbase. This will create further options to go to the airbase unit detail, to
order the expansion of the airbase or to change the supply ...

Re: AI assitant following user ADs... not

Thanks.
Makes me wonder why there was just a dial set to allow the user to directly set the level of AI assistants.
That need to click here, and then there, and also watch when you do it, that all is just other brink on the pile why players should quickly get used to doing the air war on their own ...

Doesn't seem to make sense to look for the latest info here while all graphics especially explaining pictures are on the old manual.

Re: Quick Questions Thread

Maybe there is a difference between the sides but an Axis corps is an HQ too, and its command costs have to be carried by the army its attached to. And the armies, at least I assume, bring their command costs to the army groups, or why is AGC 128:108?

Re: Quick Questions Thread

The manual notes command point costs for:
- Battalion/Regiment/Brigade: 1;
- Fortified Zone: 1;
- Division: 2;
- Corps: 4
But what does an army cost?
I'm a bit puzzled that AGC is above its 108 points despite only having 6 armies.
