RE: odd problem with 8.4

<t> Your not alone Nikademus. This has been happening to me since I installed ver 8.3. Seemed to have gotten better with 8.4. I've deleted the Steel.prf with no change. Certainly slows play down and more than anything its annoying, so I someone knows how to stop it please speak up. Interesting in ...

RE: SPWAW 8.3 patch!!!

<t> Found it no problem. But, why are there two patches? One was a zip file, the other not. Are they both neccessary or same info different format? Download the zip file and installed, seemed to have updated to 8.3 but other than the version number at the bottem of the page really haven't looked for ...

Excuse Me

<r>Red,<br/>
Your records are incorrect. My win/loss record is 2 and 1. I beat Birdgunner in the 1st Round, Rob W in the 2nd, lost to Lars Scharfschutze in the 3rd. I believe that qualifies to move into the 4th round.<br/>

Since Brutto-Bob needs an opponent, and my match with Patriot101 was cancelled, how about Boro vs. Brutto-Bob?

Patriot 101 game clarification

<t>I'm about to finish (3 turns left) my round 3 game with Lars Scharfschutze. It appears that he will win. That will put me 2 wins, 1 loss. <br/>
<br/>
Patriot 101 is 2/2. So wouldn't this be a round 4 game? I have no problem waiting until 6/24 to get it going.<br/>
<br/>
Thanks for the ...

<t>Red<br/>
Waiting on RobW to return from Holiday. We are about a third of the way through our game. Said he would be back this coming Monday. Only getting about two or three turns in a week, so it will be another 4-6 weeks to finish.<br/>

Oops !

<t>Well sports fans, Gary forces have all but wiped the Russians off the map. But wait, whats that, the Americans left their rear area completely unguarded and Russian Partisans have taken the majority of the the American Victory Hexes!! Unbeliveable! Certainly this will be too little too late, but ...

Gary vs Boro

<t>For all intents and purpose our game is all but over. Gary will be the clear cut winner and I pity the fool who has to play him next.<br/>
Especially if he is the Americans. Gary has a grasp of this game that I have not found in prior battles with a varitey of foes. Congratulations to him on ...

It is almost uglier than it sounds

<t>The americans are definately putting the hurt on the russians, however I hope that I am not as inept of a commander as appears. <br/>

Considering I just finished turn 4, my units have not remained in stationery positions turn after turn as reported. The units that did not move were ...

Turn 3

<t>The Americans are using excellent tactis in trying to contend with the Russian heavier firepower. The russian recon units took the brunt of this last turns action, the americans fired a few hundred rounds at each to suppress them and then moved up some Greyhounds to finish them off. Then they hid ...

Turn 2

Orders were "Movement to contact", which is what happened. Engaged several 3 in. AT guns, spotted numerous infantry positions, lost a BA11 to a M4 Sherman lurking in the brush.

Here we go again

<t>Alright, we have fixed the armor values, re-purchased and deployed.<br/>
<br/>
Preliminary Bombardments netted the US a big fat ZERO, this worked out well for the Russians compared to our last start. First blood goes to the Russian artillery, scratch one US Jeep.<br/>

It begins

<t>With 11,000 points worth of units it was not hard for the Yankee Imperialist Pigs artillery to find a target. The Motherland expects it soldiers to sacrifice to gain the ultimate victory.<br/>

<t>I'm finding that I prefer Advancing/Delay action vs Meeting Engagements. Mainly due to most MEs develope into a Advance/Delay without the benifit of the point differental. What I mean by that is it almost always is that one or the other force in a Meeting Engagement is able to take the center 3 ...
