Don't know about the Pacific Battles thingee, but for SPWaW the manual is in the Steel Panthers World At War folder of your game, or search for SPWaW-Manual.pdf.

I've never cared for total historical accuracy. When I design, I ALWAYS give the various artillery units radios, the only exceptions being some assault mortar squads. Nothing is worse than having artillery that you can't use! [:@]

So delete it and see what happens. I've had many files mistakenly identified as spyware that weren't.
