Warrior: The word is "Carte" singular, or "Cartes" plural.
You can also use "Plan", but it's less common - it refers more to a hand-draw map, or to a printed town map.

During my tests I used them to pin the AA guns... Did you do the same ? It's IMO their only purpose.

One Graphic I would appreciate to have would be a terrain overlay (like town streets) to make pretty Piers and/or Jetty.
