<t>That's happened to me before as well. There are two in-game "fixes" for it. One, break the AI with either shift-A or F3. Then move it a space and it should be okay, and then turn the AI back on again. The other fix is just F3, and call its move or attack. It'll stop for long enough for you to get ...

Granted, that's a loophole, but it only works if your weapon range is longer than your scanner range. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Heh, missing a single break move doesn't compare to all the headshots you get on me. <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> Incidentally, I recently took 80+ points of jock damage from a heavy meson shot to my head. Scary.

All missile racks with 5 or more missiles have a chance to reduce dense woods, be they burning or not. If they are burning, they will be put out. Thus, SRM4s and GM3 are incapable of reducing woods.

Draws?

<t>I actually got into a situation where I drew a game at the end. Such an uninteresting ending. It doesn't even say it was a draw. It just goes... "Save Game?" Although it's probably a one in a thousand games, how hard would it be to code something about "Teams both eliminated!" or something like ...

<t>The A1 and A2 Chassis are good for heavy energy titans. Heavy energy weaponry is weight heavy (more tons/slot). Although you may have a bit of a harder time fitting in the engine size you want, I find that the extra weight and stability offered by those two chassis often outweigh what I can do ...

<t>Teaspoon full of armor? Liquid armor? Sounds intersting. Maybe the titan would be required to have a shield on at all times to hold the darned stuff in place and if the shield was ever blown out you'd lose 1 AP/10 secs or something like that...<br/>

We'll hear from him before 4 years. <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> He said 2 months cuz that's Basic. During that time you're not going to have access to a computer, and even if you did, you're probably drop dead tired from the daily regimines. Anyway, best of luck to ya PC!

Because you're "technically" only shooting at half the body.

Right, that's why I was assuming a flank showing, which can often be the case during an approach.

Yep, punched and kicked down lots of titans before, especially if you hit their legs or lower torso. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

There is a chance based on damage and location hit. So, larger titans do have a greater chance of knocking down smaller titans.

<t>Urgh, I meant 8 missiles, was thinking that then divided by two. My mental calculator seems to have eloped with the Thanksgiving turkey. <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> Anyway, this is only supposing that a flank is shown towards the launcher. So 8 missiles is ~25%, giving the required 101 ...

<t>Not much point with the Pentagram, though its testing phase worked out okay. The math I use the most is the heat/sec, as it gives me a decent idea as how to balance my weapons for a constant firing rate. I do test my designs, and many have fallen flat on their face dispite "theory". <img src ...

<t>Which are you talking about, the armor on the Launcher or the armor on the opponent? 74+27 is for max armor on the opponent. The 50/50% hit rate also only accounted for 25-33% of all missiles hitting, hitting that part. This doesn't include cluster hits, or the increased hit rate when the enemy ...

<t>True true, all too true Iceman, but the Launcher doesn't need to be hopeful. I wrote out the maths for it and when I tried to post it, I got an error message so I'm not going to rewrite everything.
