Temporal Retirement

Post by PrinceCorrin »

This shall be my final post for a long time. I will be entering basic traing a full month and a half sooner than expected. On December 4th i become the property of the USAF. I shall be unable to access the internt for almost two months. I will miss you all, and ToS most of all. I hope to have completed the HTML conversion of the new Strategy guide by then, thanks to Lyhrrus' most appreciated assistance.
Later,
PrinceCorrin
I see your lips moving, but all I hear is: Blah Blah Blah, I'm a friggin moron.

I will miss you my friend, good luck and again I thank you for your patience and many kindnesses to this grumpy and moody old man.

God be with you.

Good luck. Hope we'll see you when they let you out of your cage for some exercise in the real world. :-)
We sometimes catch a window
A glimpse of what's beyond
Was it just imagination
Stringing us along?
More things than are dreamed about
Unseen and unexplained
We suspend our disbelief
And we are entertained

PC,

I've learned that the military service in the US is like 4 years straight? I certainly hope we'll hear from you sooner than that.

Please keep in mind that ToS, albeit being a good game, is still nothing more than a computer GAME. It shouldn't become the reason for living.

Please define living in a non dualistic manner. Different than a game ?

Larkin,

All I can say.. LOL!!!

I can think of myself as being pretty much obsessed with the success of ToS:WS, but I can still separate the concept between 'a life' and 'a computer game'. Not implicating that the difference would be much worth of anything.

We'll hear from him before 4 years. He said 2 months cuz that's Basic. During that time you're not going to have access to a computer, and even if you did, you're probably drop dead tired from the daily regimines. Anyway, best of luck to ya PC!

Nahhh, AF basic is mainly mind games, not physical exertion. I was a couch potato, except for weekly paintball games (I've been shot? Oh, darn, pass me a beer!), and I breezed through. Chances are good it'll be longer than 2 months, depending on where he goes to tech school.
