RE: Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge comming from Matrix

Is there going to be a new demo? And what demo was Cobb playing?

After playing the current demo(2007) I have to say Strategy First did the right thing pulling the plug on this project.

RE: PC version?

What I got out of Lock-n-Load was there site had been hacked and the forums were the point of entry.  So no new registrations.  Believe it or don't believe it, your choice.

Actually Mr. Peterson not completely useless information. Larkin suggested pulling the TOS demo so I gave him an example where that has been done.

And regarding Steel Panthers they can't sell it. SSI still has the rights to it.

Don't know if your aware Larkin but when Matrix got the rights to Firefight(now Close Assualt) they did pull the demo/shareware version from the net.

<t>Hey Larkin ever heard the saying "Why buy the cow when the milk is free?"<br/>
<br/>
So yes you are going to have to convince me and probably quite a few others who either don't post or even the read boards that a commercial version of TOS has enough to offer to warrant purchasing when 1.4 is ...

If you have a Voodoo card you should be aware that Microsoft removed all support for Glide rendering. nVidia was responsible for that decision in case your wondering.

<t>Ya, anytime you have a turn-based game online you usually have to have a timer and limit the number of units per player. I'm curious to see the new movement system in action, it should help speed things up. Any chance of you guys doing a trailer showing it and some of the new stuff in action?<br ...

<r>Try Hypersnap DX. The free version works great and just adds a little "this image captured on Hypersnap" logo on the upper left corner. Saves in jpg and works with 3D cards also. Should be able to find it on <URL url="http://www.tucows.com"><s>[url=http://www.tucows.com]</s>www.tucows.com<e>[/url ...

Thank you Mr. Peterson <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> Sorry to be so rude.

I like the branching idea as linear tends to limit the replay value and dynamic tends to be very complex(and complexity breeds buggies).

How hard would it be to do both? Have a set of pre-generated jocks and the option to create your own. My personal preference is creating my own they feel more personal that way.

No public servers? That's a surprise, glad I asked the question.

Sounds like you got security covered then. No publics then no need for any.

Online security

Has online security been taken into consideration yet?

Its truly pathetic that practically any online game no matter how small will have those that want to cheat.

Yes, but Mr. Peterson never came out and said what you did Larkin. If he would have that would have been the end of this discussion then and there.
