That has, uh, got to suck. I don't think I've seen such awful luck since the head-chopping GRs of BattleTech.

Bad luck!

Say, what are you using for your screen captures? How much does it cost?

I'm just using the printscreen command! Doesn't cost a thing. It saves your entire screen to the clipboard, which you can then paste into a paint, or other graphic program file. If I knew how to save it directly into a JPEG I would since that's the easiest to upload (in terms of size). But since I don't know how to do that, I paste it into the paint program, save it as a .bmp file, then convert it into a JPEG with photoshop.

Err, your right. It hurts just looking at it.

But hey, there's a high point! At least your head was still in one piece!
See the happy moron,

I use a program called Capture Eze Pro. Very cool. I start it with a hot key(in this case print screen)and then click and drag to select the area I want to capture. I can then mess with it any way I want, and convert it directly to GIF JPEG, BPM, or any of 50 other graphic files

BTW, the paint program CAN convert files to JPEG. Just select Save As and then click the drop down menu where it says 24-bit Bitmap (*.bmp, *.dib) and click JPEG, which is the bottom choice.
I see your lips moving, but all I hear is: Blah Blah Blah, I'm a friggin moron.

I tried that already, it won't let me save to any other format but *.bmp or *.bip

Try Hypersnap DX. The free version works great and just adds a little "this image captured on Hypersnap" logo on the upper left corner. Saves in jpg and works with 3D cards also. Should be able to find it on www.tucows.com or just use a search engine.

I don't know if all the software products mentioned in the previous posts here have a similar option, but one thing I definitely like at Hypersnap DX is the possibility to downgrade the jpeg quality. This really helps reducing the file sizes, e.g. at 80% the resulting files will be at 100-140k for a battle screen capture.

There's another option for those files to be published online, a progressive format. This will result in a different loading behaviour, with gradually increasing resolution and image quality.

To save a screen in Battle just 'shift-P' and a battle.pcx file will be created in your data folder.

This is in the Battlemodules help section.

Yes, but was it still in one piece AND also attached to the body?

Interestingly enough, it was the only green part left on my body. I sort of look like the Grinch in a santa suit. (without the hat of course)

The reason I mentioned that was in a previous game with Hetzer (Hetz), we were using small teams and one of his titans refused to die. I ended up destroying the entire titan with the exception of the head before the blasted thing just died. That was a while ago and many changes have been made to the battle module but that fight will live long in my memory as will Hetz's tenacious fighting skills.
