GR units are the best units possible, until you max out your tech, I believe

Although they should be escorted by other units to tank hits for them, because it will take at least 200 turns before you can build anything similar to them

The comments on the blog post confirmed that the first game on the engine will not be historical.

Could it be the return of the Groschken Reich and the Atlantian Empire? It would have WW2 technology without having "German panzers"

Working name "Empire"

Could be anything from 30 Years War, to Napoleonic, to Franco-Prussian, to possibly even Russo-Japanese. But not WW1, because then there's the possibility that a German Panzer could exist.
