<t>11/4/01 Princecorrin vs th15, duel, PC wins<br/>

We both drew an inquisitor (2 LRM12s, 2 GM6s, roughly 16 armour on all components). It made for a hilarious game. I took a couple of pot shots from a hill at the start of the game (he couldnt detect me) doing slight damage. Then he found some ...

<t>Considering that even light titans take around 10 sec to run a hex, its not likely that he'll move away before you finish the firing cycle and you're being stupid about anyone swivelling themselves away. A potential of 20 dmg isnt that much. No chance of internal damage, no instability checks and ...

Oh yea, i forgot bout the fire time, well, damage can be tweaked (2dmg/s, probably).... And, the firing cycle cant be interuppted, unless the weapon is destroyed. So if you lose a lock or the enemy moves out of your arc of fire it just fires into thin air. So just make sure that doesnt happen.

im pretty sure that an accurate threat level indicator is based on EL warfare skill. What if the jock doesnt detect the enemy lock on?

The improvement that i want is a shot analysis so that you can tell why its so hard to hit the enemy.

i've got a question. Assuming you strip the armour off a bodypart then hit it with a HMG, will the HMG do 3+3=6 dmg straight to the internals?

i dont like kamikaze attacks in games. The game eventually degenerates into duckshoots. Basically, i dont think games should allow players to take specialisation to such an extent that its 100% make or break situation.

You dont ahve to destroy the bodypart. I was playing the AI with a meson titan that i designed, did medium damage to the gyro of the enemy titan. It spent the rest of the game standign up and tripping every step.
