The old churchs are built in the early 1900s no earthquake standards back the and this quake was a lot closer a shallower doesnt let you know its coming just whacks you straight between the eyes

My family and I are fine we live in Christchurch .... No power or water or sewer it all stuffed house has cracks right thru it and some door wont shut but liveable ... sleeping downstairs atm with kids
