Before I overwrite SPWAW 7.1 with H2H I would like to know whether this will prevent play of old scenarios and campaigns. If so, what files need to be saved freom &.1? And what do you do when 8.0 is available? Does 8.0 include the changes in H2H?

I have tried RS 3 times and never got past Kolotchny. I re- downloade the campaign and patches but the same loop occurs. This is a bug that needs fixing pronto cause RS is too good to give up on.

Thanks. I copied all the files to Megacam\Operation Watchtower42, and deleted the nested directories, but the damned thing is still a black screen. I did not find a Watchtower.cfg file. What now?
I can open each file in My Computer The snd files are now in the SPWAW snd directory.

It looks like a sound problem, rather tan the video card! I turned off the sound FX at preferences, and the crashes stopped. Best of all, with the sound back on SPWAW continues to run. Keeping my fingers crossed! <img src="tongue.gif" border="0">

Thanks. I have DX8.0. The driver is nvdisp.drv version 4.13.2311. I deleted the steel.prf file and got to turn 2 before crashing.
