Re: New Forum Tips and Issues

DasTactic is correct in identifying the root issue. In view of all the many comments about the text size, why not implement this simple fix instead of this "you should use Ctrl-zoom" advice, which is frankly bad. Users should not have to fix poor design.

If users like small text, then they can ...

RE: Community Scenario Pack Updated - 23 New Scenarios!

<t> I have both versions of Dong Hai and my Steam install was done just last month on 20210814. Other than @Patmanaut 's kind clarification for "Maria and Victoria" (good) vs "Maria & Victoria" (bad) I think we can only hope this gets straightened out by Matrix, maybe, someday. I'm sure there are ...

My point is that there are a couple duplicates with name changes and a 2-3 more that are renamed with different dates. Sort by date and delete the .scen files. Or move them to another folder. Again, its a simple solution until its ...

RE: Scenario duplicates?

<t> A quick look at the scenario directory shows different file sizes between each pair, so they are definitely not simple duplicates that differ only in filename. That doesn't mean they are not functionally the same, so your question still stands open. I took my 1st look at the scenario editor ...

Speech recognition is indeed the problem on Win 10 in both a standard install or a Steam install. The easiest way I found to discover all the places where it needs to be turned off is to just hit the Windows command panel and search for "Speech". This should have been patched a long time ago.

<r> How the game logic would resolve an Allied AA vs Axis tank engagement I can't tell you off the top of my head, but in the real world the answer would be "No Way" due to a number of factors. These include the types of ammunition used at the time and the way AA was allocated, often in the defense ...
