What if?

<t>Thanks DiRaC for your comment, and I agree, its a big IF, but the Red Army had received a huge hammering, and maybe Stalin may have been worried about further losses, including Moscow itself. Stalin was willing to negotiate with Hitler pre Barbarrosa, to gain time to strengthen the Red Army, and ...

winter weather

Thanks for the reply. You could well be right, I have not checked out the effect of the winter weather in 3.3, in Western and Italian fronts, in detail anyway. But I'am sure in older versions, winter weather did have an effect on units in these HQs.

Winter weather - Western and Southern Europe

<t>Hi Guys,<br/>
<br/>
Just a point I wish to make. I have never lived in North Africa, or Southern France during the winter, but do they have blizzards there? Could we not make the Italian front and Western Front HQs, and maybe the HQs in Germany, not suffer from the Russian winters? ie make them ...

What if? An idea for a new scenario

<t>I love playing War in Russia, mostly as axis. I also enjoy, using the scenario editor, to<br/>
change deployment and alter orders of battle.<br/>
But I think, the axis never had a chance to complete a total victory over the Red Army, in<br/>
my humble opinion, even if they did take Moscow, as ...

War in Russia, Scn Editor v3.3

<t>Hi Guys,<br/>
<br/>
I have just been trying to edit the 1941 scn, for axis, and I cannot seem to move any HQs from army groups North, Centre and south? ie, move the 6th army from army group South to army group centre.<br/>
Is this a change from earlier versions, or is there another method of ...

<t>Thanks to Loki, will have a look. Mist the scenario we played was an edited version of 41, and not mist, but will keep you informed of the progress on your scenario as we do battle! Once I have mastered it maybe we could have a game! Have you played empire Napoleon 1813? This could have been the ...

<t>Thanks for the reply Mist. Will the secure PBEM work on another scenario, IE one which the Axis start as player one? Or is it a general bug? I am looking forward to playing your scanario, it looks good. We have just finished playing an edited version of 41, in which I played a very cautious Axis ...

<t>Thanks for your replay Mist. Yes it is an edited game, Mist! Have tried saving it as OBBAG, and OBBAG.MD. This does work to a degree, it asks me for a code, which I give, (two letters), I then send, it then asks for a code from my opponent, he then forwards it back to me. I give the code for ...
