Repaired

<t>Mogami is correct in that is the time for the ship to be repaired and back to action at Pearl. Then you just have to talk Pearl into sending you the ship back. Tha's the most annoying thing so far I have run into with the game. Unless things are going badly, Pearl won't send you any ships, Then ...

Kinko's

If you want to have your local Kinko's print the manual you should be able to take the game disk down and they will be able to do a manual for you. There is a Kinko's labeled file for the Manual.

Seawolf

<t>The trouble is Sarge, the no shoot rules were very direct. The Destroyers were not supposed to be attacking any sub in the "safe zone" for any reason. The orginal Sub attack happened outside the safe zone and they thought the Jap sub retreated into the "safe zone" The navy got lucky and only lost ...

Argonaught

<t>My understanding is this Sub is treated like a mine laying ship as it was converted to lay mines. . It had actual mine racks to carry and lay mines with. Regular minelayers auto reload at Brisbane and Nouema when they dock Regular subs carried the mines in the torpedo tubes and therefore carried ...

Sakai

It's a great book. It's been a lot of years since I read it. One of the best parts is when he was stations on Iwo (I think) and he played dodge with about 2 or 3 Hellcat squadrons. Mark

Ships hitting mines

Your ships hit their mines, not your mines. Their MSW was clearing your mines not theirs. :) Mark

Mine Warfre

<t>The one time I got it to work I had to send the Minelayer out all on it's lonesome(This could definately be my problem) . And as I have found out in futher reading you can only reload mines at Noumea and Brisbane. If you are using Subs then you have to disband the TF and create another to get the ...

Seawolf

<t>That's why I thought the destroyer Captain should have been hung, I knew about the Seawolf being in the "Don't attack any sub zone" when it was sunk, Didn't know it was a whole hunter-killer group that was involved. Will have to modiy my statement, They should have hung all the Captains in the H ...

Seawolf

The poor guys in the Seawolf are the real unlucky ones. Get sunk by one of your own destroyers. That was one destroyer captain who should have been hung from the flag mast.

From the Manual

Ross, which part of the manual is correct, Your quote from 7.2 is in odds with Appendex B where it states the saved game is already compressed and you won't gain much by zipping. Would be good to know which is correct?

Thanks

Mark
