On a similar topic, I've noticed flooding getting worse as I try to limp back to any port. Would bringing a ship to a stop (once out of immediate danger) help with securing the flood situation so that it can get back to port without sinking along the way?

<t>Overall, I love the idea of the suggestion and would favor its implementation should Matrix, in their infinite patience with us (salute !), choose to pursue it. <br/>

And where are LI planes?

Has anyone else noticed what I observed at least once.....that LI appears in-theater without any planes onboard? Does this strike anyone else as odd? I know I'm a newbie, but to send even a light carrier to a hot theater without any planes onboard seems stupid.

Returning to Japan/Pearl

<t>I'm a newbie and haven't yet read the manual, so please forgive meif this is blatantly stupid. <br/>
<br/>
I've noticed that often I am provided a button to return a ship to its home port (on the map). However, even when damaged, there doesn't seem to be any opportunity to return a ship (or TF ...

<r>Agreed. And yes, I'm up on the thread about the B-17 vs Zero issue. Actually, I've been following the forums since Feb. waiting and drooling for the game to come out and get the kinks shaken out of it (I write software....never buy the 1.0 version of anything <E>:)</E> ). So, 2.0 came out, I ...

Thanks for the 1024 tip....didn't know that was setable in the game....did so and that did the trick.

The game always seems to require the disc being inserted...is this normal? What happens when I upgrade beyond 2.0 but still only have a 2.0 disc to insert?

Some newbie questions

<t>Just started with UV 2.0 and have some 'logistic' questions:<br/>
<br/>
1) Is there any way to zoom out from the screen a little more? I feel that I'm too close (and yes I am certain that I'm not already on maximum zoom when I say this....it still seems too close).<br/>
<br/>
2) Let's say I use ...

Anyone at Matrix tracking?

Is anyone at Matrix tracking developing trends in bugs or points of confusion so that such items can be addressed in updated virtual manuals and/or patches?
