Tickling them with a feather duster works pretty well.

I'm not sure if the sight of a 16-ton mortar attached to a 'chute would scare anyone except those underneath it. A 16-ton weight would need a 'chute of several square miles in size & made of something a lot stronger than regular 'chutes.

Perhaps an Italian kamikaze weapon?

Of course, if you are worried about Germans on the other side of that hedgerow, just use a Churchill AVRE. They're one Eng. Tank, at least, that's not too easy to kill... and that 290mm mortar well...

Victory Hexes and Deployment Areas are set through the 'Deploy' screen in the Editor.

I have had problems loading maps when I have input data for Weather/Length/Vis etc. I have found that if I set Date then Map (to Custom) then Length, then Weather, then Visibility (the order does seems to matter) this problem does not occur.
