RE: Japanese 1st turn move

Well, then just move them as far as they'll go and be done with it. I mean, its not like your opponent is going to be reading this...finish the move next turn...btw, where ya trying to move em to? [:D][:D][:D]

RE: Type 13 Radar- wrong type

Not to worry Dave, as my units will arrive with the newly installed "Airplane the Movie" Autopilot feature...just pull on valve and blow. Unless we get replacement pilots fixed, I wont have any flyboys left to bomb you back to the stone age with.

RE: Pilot Limit Issue - Anybody Send a Save Yet??

I just sent them my game file, but with us using the Tanaka modified scen and having already having had some tinkering done to free up pilot slots, not sure how useful its going to be.

<r> Well, I was considering it (not really) until I saw that one of the players in the Chaos division was named "Genital Warts"<SM sm="crazy.gif">[sm=crazy.gif]</SM>...I can't find a name even remotely close to that in my WiTP Pilot rosters...think I'll stick with WiTP, even if I cant get pilot ...

RE: Pilot replacement bug problem

<t> Thats understandable..I'd be upset too...wait, I am...my opponent and I have just conducted ops over Luzon that consisted of me flying over 400 transports on a supply run to an base with no cap so he could intercept and knock em silly, and he did the same to me plus fly some kamikazi over ships ...

RE: Pilot replacement bug problem

Ours began sometime soon after that I believe, maybe around 6/44? Possibly a little later even, but as far as changes to the stock go, I don't believe Tanaka is responsible for the problem. He just adjusted some upgrade paths I believe...

No idea...I haven't heard of anyone else talking about this, and our posts seem to go unnoticed by Matrix, so beats me.

RE: Use of F4U on CV....

<t> Thats the point I was getting at, about higher op losses. I wonder if its worth it or if I will crash my highly trained units into oblivion. I like the idea of disallowing it until sometime in '44, but to whoever said you have enough F6F and don't need em, I'll explain why I do need them. <br ...

Use of F4U on CV....

<t> Hey guys,<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
I've read a few posts mentioning the use of Corsairs on CV in the game, and all th epros and cons, but my question is, is it worth it given the fact they're only "carrier capable"? Doesn't that mean they'll suffer a very high rate of loss or repairs? Is it worth it ...

Pilot replacement bug problem

<t> Heya guys,<br/>
<br/>
Once again, my opponent DWBradley and I are running into the pilot replacement bug. Our game is currently at 11/'44 using the Tanaka modified campaign scenerio, and updated to version 1.60.<br/>
<br/>
It seems we have run out of slots in the game for new pilots, and as ...

I'd like to be considered also guys. I have one game currently ongoing, at 11/44 now with me as allied, and I can get out a turn a day easy.

<r> Ok guys,<br/>

COmments on these combat results anyone?

<t> Hey guys,<br/>
<br/>
Just had my hat handed to me, and I think at this point I can only surrender, but I wanted to get some opinions on the combat results. The first wave is my chief concern, where I had 108 F6F and some Wildcats lead a strike and get completely wiped out without one attack on ...

RE: Two Late-War Aircraft Bugs

<t> What I would like to know is this: Anyone from Matrix looking at this problem? Our game is now in 8/44 and we'd like to be able to carry on without resorting to some half-baked scheme to share the pilot slots that are freed up.<br/>

Not a critisism, just asking if they're aware and are ...

RE: Two Late-War Aircraft Bugs

<t> Getting the same results here with my opponent...we are at 8/6/44 and neither can add pilots to units. I am checking to see if the computer is filling them out automatically with this next turn, but if not then this is really bad. I will begin my mornings with a prayer to the pilot pool gods ...

RE: couple of questions about game in progress...

Yeah witpqs, I did that and the fighters for the Wasp are nowhere in the game. So, if their not in game, why didn't they come back with the CV as the DB and TB did? That's my question [:D]

RE: couple of questions about game in progress...

<t> Thanks For the reply sir. Now, I figured since they didn't come back, they being the fighters, they were at a base waiting for the mother ship to return. However, I cant seem to find them. That being the case, do I ever get them back? If not, how does the Wasp get fighters on board? Please tell ...
