couple of questions about game in progress...

Hey guys,


My opponent and I are currently playing a scen 15 game, and its 5/44. I am experiencing two problems, and would like to get some comments/feedback/whatever on them.

1) Mandalay is a focal point atm, and with over 1 million troops combined, my allies are shelling/bombing it flat. However, with over 2,500 armor there, every time I ground attack, my armor units seem to use only their inf portion, with the final results showing 0 armor present for my side. A check of my armor units after the fight show the inf squads decimated, but no armor touched. Now, I am getting my hat handed to me there with slightly more troops than my opponent, but the lack of armor support stinks. ANy ideas why my armor wont fight? Having been run out of China the previous year, I have the entire Chinese army in Burma, but the armor is all Brit/US if that matters.

2) Having lost the Wasp and Hornet early in the war, their now returning to the game, but missing their fighter wings. I can't find the units anywhere on the map, so how do I get them back on my CVs. The DB and TB are all present, but no fighters.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

for 1.) I cant say anything.

for 2.) this was discussed before - you have to save the main air units onboard of these carriers. if you do, they will build up strength again in some time. you then can put them back on the new essex class ship a few years later. I know this becasue I asked the same wuestion 6 months ago

Thanks For the reply sir. Now, I figured since they didn't come back, they being the fighters, they were at a base waiting for the mother ship to return. However, I cant seem to find them. That being the case, do I ever get them back? If not, how does the Wasp get fighters on board? Please tell me this isn't just something ya learn to deal with....

As far as finding them goes, use the 'A' and 'N' hot keys to search all land based and sea based air units. It's easier than looking at all those bases!

Yeah witpqs, I did that and the fighters for the Wasp are nowhere in the game. So, if their not in game, why didn't they come back with the CV as the DB and TB did? That's my question [:D]

CV's lost their fighters ... was a bug, now fixed.
