BEF

After France was defeated the AI managed to retrieve the BEF back to blighty. Why did they sail across the Atlantic and land in Newfoundland? Also, when moving paratroopers using the double click to extend their range they can still prepare if in a city. Is that fair?

Battle so far...

<t> So far so good. Game seems stable and I have had just one crash up to now. At one point the menu overlay stopped working, meaning I could not progress the turn.I discovered that when I moved a unit it started working again,so do that if it happens to you. The graphics overall look very good and ...

Looks Good.

<t> I am quite excited about this. I bought decisive campaigns which was good but lacked a bit of depth in my opinion. I have resisted buying War in the East partly due to the high price and partly because it seems a bit to in depth to me.Some people are never happy ! .I do not object to paying $50 ...

RE: Price

<t> Here in Manchester i am getting the correct price ,however if you can get me the cheaper rate i would be grateful&nbsp;[:)]. On a serious note, i absolutely loved advance tactics and played it to death last year when i was made redundant in the credit crunch. Looking at the screenshots it ap...

RE: Matrix Games To Publish Armada 2526!

<t> Wow ! R T Smith ! Arnhem was the first ever game i played on computer and have been playing them ever since ,especially strategy (that`s why i`m here [:)] . Arnhem and the later Vulcan were amazing games and i would put both in my top 10 games of all time ! .I recently played Arnhem on a speccy ...

RE: Manual?

<t> Thanks for your replies, but i ain`t too happy to be honest .Ok ,i could print out the tutorial but it is spread over umpteen pages and not all the info is relevant to just that 1st particular battle .When i bought Advanced Tactics the tutorial was quite well detailed and only referred to the bat...

New game.

<t> Hi!<br/> I purchased Advanced Tactics over Christmas as a treat to myself.I ordered both the digital d/l and CD delivery.Up to now i am enjoying the game very much(it reminds me of the old Vulcan game called "ARNHEM" by R T Smith). It is quite difficult learning the differant functions without th...

Hmmm.....very enjoyable.

<t> Loaded the game up ,took about 2 hours to get it to run under vista but managed it in the end.IMHO it is better than SC/SC2.The defence of the low countries and france was very realistic with plenty of units to play with.Research and purchasing units is a doddle, units become available fairly qui...
