Re: Bottlenecks occur in surprising places

If you live in the US near a major metro area, then dying of any cardiac condition these days is quite rare until you're into your 80's. Yeah, they've advanced that much. Not downplaying your condition at all, just saying that Yes, they have so much they can do now for almost any cardiac ...

Re: Bottlenecks occur in surprising places

Lost my Dad to that, almost exactly the same scenario: aortic dissection followed by stroke, except his was too big and was a few years back when dissections were 99.9% fatal.

Re: Bottlenecks occur in surprising places

Hey Ed. Great to see you following along. We did indeed make it to '45. I hope to get that far once again against LST but I do get the feeling that if I'm still in the game come the last year then I am doing ok.

You have had a very tough health hand dealt to you and have battled on through. Go ...

@Mundy
Looks like you have had an escape from death as close as it can get. I hope that you will fully recover with time.
Tell me, is Steven the kind of player that would contemplate a landing at Pearl Harbor? Just wondering, given the latest developments...

I would highly doubt it. There wasn ...

Re: Bottlenecks occur in surprising places

Hi Steve,

Good to see you up and running again. I haven't been on the forum for quite a while and I noticed your fight with LST starting, I'll be following you two guys.

We had a pretty long fight with this scenario -- I think we made it into 1945 and were pretty stalemated.

Since my surgery two ...

Re: Bo...oops in the South Pacific - LST (A) vs SierraJuliet (J) Bottlenecks Mod

Hi LST

Great you got Steve moving again. I'll have to bug him about this.

Our game went on quite a while until it fizzled out. We were pretty stalemated at the time.

Two years ago, I survived an aortic dissection. I wasn't expected to live through it at the time and I'm fortunate to still be up ...

RE: IJ commander resurrected - Mundy (A) vs. Castor Troy (IJ) - restricted AAR

Thanks.

This game was odd in that I probably made every wrong decision possible that there is to make. I played a much smarter one vs SierraJuliet in my other one.

Just hoping I don't bungle the Japanese moves like I did last time I tried this side.

Probably. I think I had 20-30 of them in each group.

I really didn't feel bad about it at the time as he had been handling me roughly the whole game.

I had an opponent once who like to use them against me.

It was down around Samoa, before I could establish that base. Fortunately, PG Charleston was along and dealt out a lot of pain to them. [:)]
