RE: ONLY!!! OOB Comments/Suggestions for Patch 1.4

<t> There are some engine factories in Japan that are producing engines that don't belong to any plane. They should be changed to produce useful engines. Of course a player could change them once the scenario starts, but then the factories will become damaged and you'll lose weeks of production ...

Hmmmm, yep looks like it will be interesting how the Matrix team will handle this.

I wonder if the troops in China will be locked in China HQ like in PACWAR where you had to wait till a certain date in order to send them to other theatres?

Is China going to be a pushover?

<t>Hi,<br/>
<br/>
Does anyone know how is China going to be modelled into this game? I really do hope it's going to be far more realistic this time, unlike PACWAR where you could overrun it in a dozen or so turns.<br/>
<br/>
I would gather that to model a more accurate China, she's going to need a ...

<t>Actually the reason why the Japanese oil supply drops so quickly in the first few turns is that a lot of bases in SE asia has very little fuel so the routine convoy has to ship thousands of fuel points to these bases. This means a lot of oil is used up to make fuel. <br/>

So that means if the first byte in the file is 00 (I think). Then it must be water. <br ...

Actually, Mika uses a disassembler to peak into the EXE. That's why he knows what all the calculations are in PACWAR. It's possible to change already existing values in the EXE with a hex editor, such as LCU sizes, airfield sizes, combat formulas etc but one cannot add new things to the EXE.

Can't send ships to Marcus Island?

In ver 3.0, why is Marcus Island port size of zero? This effectively makes it a landlocked base. I am unable to send ships or Task forces there to garrison the base. Marcus Island has a port value of zero in all the new OBC's so obviously it was delibrately but for what purpose?

Their horrendous casualties were caused by their belief in their "bushido code" of honor.

The bushido code revised by Tojo was nothing more than a big propoganda scam in order to boost the morale fibre of the Japanese army.
