DCG questions

<t> I played the original games extensively some years ago. <br/>
<br/>
My favourite games were with the DCG. <br/>
<br/>
Initially however, I found them hard to appreciate as the DCG's starting AI deployments were too illogical for my tastes, as were the randomly generated maps (roads starting ...

RE: Japanese Air to Air Combat Dropoff

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>Your assumptions are backwards: this test was run at a time there was no RHS mod to use. We were trying to add some planes to semi-carriers - and to understand if semi-carriers would work at all? We did this in stock scenario 15 with nothing special except changes of ...

RE: Non PDU upgrades (who flys the george?)

Well, that's one down, two to go. [:)]

Actually, Hoplosternum's list is still accurate for the most current version of scen 15. The three air groups that upgrade are the ones he mentioned.

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>ORIGINAL: ChezDaJez<br/>
The additional horsepower would give it a slight speed edge and better acceleration at that altitude but the A6M2 should still hold a slight edge in turning ability and sustained ROC due to its greater wing area. So I would think its pretty much a ...

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>ORIGINAL: ChezDaJez<br/>
That is not always correct as is the case with the A6M2 upgrade path. There are two of them, one for land-based and one for sea-based. The AI does NOT auto convert all the factories to A6M3, it basically ignores the 2 paths. You'ld be screwed if it ...

<t> Both the A6M3 and A6M3a are carrier capable in the game.<br/>

In most stock scenarios though, you won't see an upgrade option for Jap CV based fighter units that includes the A6M3.<br/>
