RE: Impressions

I noticed when doing the X-15 space plane launches now that with the released version we don't hear the talk between the pilot and base, like we did in the beta versions. Was it taken out of the released version? And if so, why?

RE: Status update 19/10/2014

That new version sounds really good! Does the .8? desgination mean we're going to see another patch before the official release, or do we need to wait until the 30th? Just curious.

RE: Bug: game hangs on Mercury suborbital

The bug you fixed for me in my save a few days ago WAS for the Mercury Manned Suborbital. I've updated the 7.24.2 patch and confirmed that the mission now works using the save you provided to me. Just some extra FYI. Maybe he missed the small 7.24.2 patch?

(0.7.24) Game Locks Up

<t> So I downloaded and installed the newest patch tonight (7.24) and started a sandbox game <br/>
as the US.<br/>
<br/>
Game was going fine until I tried to do a Mercury Suborbital. When I had the choice to<br/>
watch the launch or just get the outcome, I clicked on outcome. All I got after ...

<t> Not sure if this is the right place to report this, but rather then make a new thread, I thought I would post some observations here.<br/>
<br/>
Just finished a GSA Campaign game with the newest patch. Not only did it run smoothly, but the balancing of money and prestige felt better this way ...

RE: SPM v. 0.7.19 is now available

Thanks for the quick response and sorry for looking stupid. Looking forward to playing this new update! I had to give up a earlier Let's Play cause the game locked up, so maybe I'll try again with this one (new game, of course).

Still not working for me. Per what it said in the original note, this is what I'm trying:

Password: SPMBetaTester/SpmBeta1114

EDIT: Oh, now I see, it's susposed to be separated. I didn't realize that. Oops!

RE: GSA Campaign -- 7.17

<t> Despite the fact that a new version is out (7.18) I'm going to keep playing this one with 7.17 and see how I do. I haven't really <br/>
run into any bugs or problems with the game so far.<br/>
<br/>
So now we start 1963. We got the budget increase, but not QUITE enough money to open Gemini ...

<r> 1st quarter 1961 --<br/>

More advanced training for our people, and the go ahead for Mercury II (the sub orbital flight) is given. <br/>

The mission is a success.<br/>

RE: GSA Campaign -- 7.17

<r> Damn it, I had a nice long year typed up for 1960 and lost it due to a PC crash.<br/>
<br/>
Basicaly, the year was spent expanding the base and researching, and Mercury 1 (an unmanned <br/>
suborbital test) was done during the Quarter 4 of 1960.<br/>

RE: GSA Campaign -- 7.17

<t> 1st Quarter 1959 --<br/>
<br/>
All R&D'ing that can be done on both Explorer and Atlas is done. It's time to open the Mercury program.<br/>
<br/>
Mercury is opened for about $3000, which leaves me $1000. Next turn I will open the Pioneer program (Lunar Flyby) as I don't have<br/>
the money ...

RE: GSA Campaign -- 7.17

<r> 1st Quarter 1957 --<br/>

By accident, I assign all five of my technicans to advanced training. So that means no missions for a couple of seasons. <br/>
No worries, I need more time to do R&D'ing for the Explorer launch.<br/>

The 5 technicans are ready. I do advanced training for each of them, one for each skill.<br/>

I have NO IDEA which skill is 'Flight Director' (I said this was a issue in past versions) as there's no skill called that. I'm<br/>
going to just go ahead and ...

GSA Campaign -- 7.17

<r> With the new patch out I'm going to try to go ahead and do a campaign for the GSA and see if it's any easier to reach the moon. <br/>
<br/>
This has been played with the newest patch (7.17) at Normal difficulty level (the lowest).<br/>
<br/>
I'm also going to pretend this is a NASA campaign ...

I hope I was helpful in some way, shape, or form for this next version. :)

Can't wait for it to come out! I'm holding off on playing again until it's released. (Partly cause I don't want to run into the bug that I sent to you last week.....)
