Disembarking?

Posted this on Steam, but not sure if I might get a better response here.

Just picked this up in the Steam Sale, and started with the small Okinawa scenario to get my feet wet. I embarked the HQ unit and one division from the USA min supply base to try and add them to the fight on the island. There ...

Graphics anomaly

<t> Minor glitch. Playing the Ninh Binh scenario as the French. At the end of the last turn when the save box comes up I always click cancel so I can review the counters as FOG is now lifted . However when I did this in this scenario, all counters became invisible. (I play in 2d, mostly in highest ...

RE: Counter Information

<t> Thank you and I am fast getting used to using the F2 button frequently. Perhaps the information could be included in the Unit Info panel on the left or right side of the screen, in a similar fashion to Panzer Campaigns? That way, when you click on a unit on the map, all the info is there and no ...

Counter Information

I wonder would it be possible to have some way of marking A company or B company etc, somewhere on the counters?
In my playthrough of the bootcamps, I have no way of distinguishing which company the units belong to when they are all mixed up together.

RE: Turn Length

Thanks for the explanation. I am used to the likes of Panzer Campaigns, where a turn is 2 hours day, 4 hours night. Perhaps an explanation in the manual that turn length is between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the scenario designer. Just a suggestion.

RE: Epic book series (any genre)

Loved the whole "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, couldn't put them down from start to finish. But RR Martin
created a monster with all the threads so no idea how he will be able to pull them all together for the last
two books in the series to come.

"The Wheel of Time" series by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. Fourteen meaty books in the series! Fantasy genre, a good galloping read!

Spamming help from a defunct major.

<t> In my current game (v AI) I had two other major powers. After the minors had been swallowed up, one<br/>
of the AI majors swallowed most of the other major. Current situation is that Myself and the other remaining major are roughly<br/>
on par with each other. The defunct major is almost gone ...

<t> I totally agree. Verisimilitude in both historical fiction, and movies is so important. Nothing destroys the<br/>
drawing in of the reader/viewer so much as an aberration. What might appear a minor or unnoticed error to the uninformed<br/>
becomes rather more glaring to us history nuts! Wrong ...

RE: Naval Interdiction

3/ Does surface port interdiction have a range?

According to the manual, ports project an interdiction amount approx. 5 to 7 hexes, dependent on port level, damage level, and weather.

Regards.

RE: AI Air Management

<t> Is it necessary to move Air Hq's closer to the battlefront? I know with ground hq's one needs to have them within command range of their subordinate units. So far in my Italian campaign game I have left the air hq's in their original positions, and used the computer ai to assign aircraft. ( I ...
