I'm retired, but don't have the time for WitP. That's too bad.

UV is a much more enjoyable and playable game than WitP. While WitP has some nice features, it is much too ponderous and slow[>:]. I wish [&o]Matrix would spend more effort on the AI portion of the game.

You can fight your war without worrying much about barges (at least if you're American!). Their capacity is so small. Might be critical in some situations. Much easer to send a transport or two.

Thanks guys. In my first and only encounter using PTs so far, I ran into a Jap force of cruisers and destroyers when I was hoping to meet up with transports. Did rather poorly. Oh well. There is next time!

It says "low." Is sending back screening vessels, e.g. destroyers, the only way to raise this to "high" or must I send back almost everything to Pearl? This game is so (too?) deep!

how does one send heavily damaged ships to pearl harbor for faster repair. i see option in menu under individual ship, but clicking on it does nothing.
