<t>So GG, I am truly trying to understand your motivation and goals.<br/>
<br/>
Are you trying to change Matrix's mind about our ability to target specific TF's?<br/>
<br/>
Do you now accept that Matrix has made a design decision and they are going to stick with it?<br/>
<br/>
Are you arguing for ...

Battle Rhythm in a computer game is Outstanding!

<r>Greetings!<br/>
<br/>
As a current U.S. military field grade officer and a longtime enthusiast of indepth board games (WiF, play-tester for Advanced Third Reich, WWII ETO/PTO), I want to thank Matrix for creating Uncommon Valor. The PBEM's I am involved in are quite satisfying. I love this game ...

Your argument would be a good one if you had any evidence of the hypothetical 50% figure you use. Otherwise, it's weak.

Thank you, OG_Gleep, for crafting a reasonable and coherent response to that post. I was so angry I retorted with a flame. You put my thoughts into words perfectly.

<t>I completely reject both the line of reasoning and the tone of Ron Amerine's post and I apologize to David Heath. I very much appreciate hearing the cold, hard facts. When people like Ron Amerine attack the truth-tellers, the consequence is we don't hear anything from the powers that be. Mr ...

<t>yeah yeah yeah. We play to make friends, etc. etc. Come on! We all want to win! You know you loved that I didn't even know to put my ships into convoys with escorts until you sank two of my unprotected transports. My poor guys had to defend themselves against shelling because I left them all ...

Boy, this is great stuff!

Bax, the plan is for you to never invade Rabaul, but rather to keep you focused on invading Australian once it is completely in my hands.

<t>You read my post perfectly, Mogami. I checked that there was a full load of mines on board before I left. The ML went to the destination hex and then headed back to home port. I checked the ML and it didn't drop any mines - still a full load. <br/>

My current theory is that since a ...

How do I lay mines?

<r>I need help with mine-laying. I have an IJN minelayer which is fully loaded with fuel and mines at Rabaul. I give it a destination hex and it goes there, but then it returns to Rabaul without having laid mines. I notice with my other minelayer that when I gave it a different destination, I was ...

I think you should consider taking Lae as a victory since Japan doesn't have it, but because it's on the other side of New Guinea, supplying it will be a nightmare. Just leave some ground ...

Toro, after I find out how much better Bax is, maybe we can start a game and I'll get a similar handicap from you. Bax is giving me 160% to start, which is very much appreciated.<br/>

Some suggestions:<br/>
<br/>
See if they will fly escort at commander's discretion.<br/>
<br/>
See if they will fly CAP or LRCAP.<br/>
<br/>
If you can get them in the air even for just CAP, see if they will fight your other guys flying CAP.<br/>

LOL! That's interesting! I'm curious if the pilots are American or Japanese?

What version did this occur under? I suspect 2.10
