No, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express once. (Bad American Joke)

COL Glantz was\is an Artillery Officer, Red Leg, Cannon Cocker as we say. I am but a humble (retired) Infantryman.

Re: Two Celts Walk Into a Bar - Tyronec vs RedJohn

A Zemke Rant: Usually due at least yearly for WitE. (Sorry for jacking the thread, move this if you want.)

Tyronec is my hero, he destroyed me as Axis. RedJohn is also very good and destroyed me as Soviet.

There is way too much mico in the game for me to get that far in the weeds, so I don't think ...

Re: The saga of the 88th Infantry Division, a tale of grinding

I am not hiding I am working on a mod, which probably won't be played around, but the aim is to make it more Axis friendly for the average player that may not have either a bucket of hours to sink in each turn or simply may not be as skilled in this or that matter.
Alas there are limits of what ...

Re: Berlin falls in 1943 in PVP Stalingrad to Berlin game

This is a problem throughout the entire game. The modeling or combat model or something is not correct. Not sure how you can fix the "grinding" method, which is more reminiscent of WW I than WW II. I suspect the combat modeling within the program needs something...not sure what.

I have been saying ...

Great Game

Just bought this game and am very impressed so far. If you like the Civil War era, and if you like managing the war effort, this is the game. After reading several reviews on several different sites, I decided to give this one a try and have not been disappointed. The system is very different from ...

What is going on with the Server???

As the topic states, why does the server keep going down or not taking saved games? I have noticed this is happening more and more often.

Most people don't have time to keep re-doing a turn if they cannot get it to upload.

Closed:1941 Campaign Game Any Skill Level w/Fast return rate, any side

The main criterion is at least one turn-a-day turn rate, more is better, (I am retired). Understand when life and holidays intervene we will slow down, that is not a problem.

I think I am an intermediate-level player overall. Can play either side, and we can do mirror games if desired. If a highly ...

Re: Game results - Tell us how your 2 player game ended

I have finished 5 games Human vs Human in the past six months. This is all from memory, so forgive me for the lack of details. I did not list my opponent in 4 of the games, as I do not have his permission to do so, but it is the same person.

Game 1 Zemke Won as Germans went to Jan 1945 and German ...

War in Europe! It would sell

Old story, but this would sell. Unite War in the East with War in the West to create War in Europe and change the time scale to half-week turns, it would sell guaranteed!

Yes I know there are some things that would need to be simulated, like Naval, but sometimes a simple fix is better than a ...

Beta 1.03.03 and Air Superiority Mission in General

I usually play with Air AI on, but my opponent wanted to not have it on, so my experience in the use of air effectively as the Russians was pretty slim, I generally figured it out, but wondering if Air Superiority really works or not.

In my last game playing the Soviets vs a human, I was trying to ...

Multi-Player Option

I noticed reading the hard copy of the manual the other day, that it said in the future the game would incorporate a multi-player Option so team play could be facilitated. Did I read that right, and if so, has that been thrown out the window or delayed indefinitely?

Change National morale settings
Change National alliance settings
Change the map, to add roads or rail.
Better interface.

1. Have any changes to the editor been made?
2. Has a guide been published on how to use the editor?

Re: 1941-45 reworked OOB

You were able to change National Morale? About a year ago I started on a rework of the 41 Campaign scenario, but every time I changed National Morale it would not "take". So has the editor been changed since then?

Re: Anyone seen the Unicorn?

I played a modified scenario with the Germans buffed with higher morale and "some" allied units, with me playing Russians. This was the first time I had ever played Russia, and I was stupid and the Germans did reach historical LOA, and more than likely would have won an early victory, we ended ...

Re: Anyone seen the Unicorn?

My thoughts on why you do not see very many German players ever reach historical limits of advance in 41, (and these are my OPINIONS on why not based on any inside knowledge other than playing the game and comparing it to historical results.

1. This game will NEVER replicate historical losses or ...
