Seems like all my PBEM major battles end with me losing a LOT of ships and sinking none. It is too embarassing to post them.

I had the 73rd Chin Army surrender somewhere in China and reappear next turn at Nassau.

Nothing seems to make a TF stuck in Akyab move. The Japanesse will just have to bomb it out of its misery.

Yes, and there is a lot of difference between aircraft loaded for a strike mission and one transferring to another base. The transfer aircraft would be a lot lighter and could take off in a shorter space.

CV air remenants land at closed air base

<t>I just had a CV-CV battle near Townsvile. I lost the battle( badly), and a number of remanents landed at Carins. The problem is that Cairns had an airfield damage of 83. So, aircraft can land but not transfer or fly missions. There is something wrong about this picture. I do think that aircraft ...

I didn't vote since you did not have the choice:

The date is good but should show in the load save game screen.

Unfortunaly the date doesn't show on the load senario screen. It just says CombatSave. Without deleting you can't be sure you are loading the right one.

I would like to know also. I have never been able to use true update, it always fails with that same error. The ftp site has worked for me.

Well, I got the turn and password. Things look a little grim but I will try to stop Japan and go on to victory. My first turn is mostly starting to reorganize and move things where I need them.

More to come I am sure.

My CA had only SYS damage, no Flotation damage or fires. I tried three times putting them together and every time they split the next turn.

I had the same problem with a CA and DD TF. I had a CA with some SYS damage, 30% ?, and I split it off myself with a DD as escort. The next turn I had two TFs, one with a single CA and one with a single DD. Noone could tell me why it happened.
