I did do that, too. And the game works just great when playing a scenario. It just crashes whenever I try to play a campaign, in just the manner I described... or at least it crashes onl occasionally in scenarios, but that happened often before in SPWaW, too...

Got both Steel Panthers II and Steel Panthers MBT today. It IS techincally running rather well on XP here... but only for a little while. After having spent like half a minute in the buying screen or, if I'm fast enough, in the map deploying, the game just freezes ...

I am afraid that was not the problem I had though, it is still there. The OOB's I found on the page replaced some of the original ones (not all) and dated 19/I/2003...

They're all 25.03.2002... so are you saying it would *perhaps* work with an older version of the game? If that's so... can I reaplly older patches OVER the latest version?
