RE: An AI observation

<t> Well, I think you more or less answered your own question. The divisional commander would have a large say in how brigades are placed in order to coordinate their actions. Although I suspect brigade commanders often worked this out on their own as well. For example, they may say to each other ...

RE: Before I buy HTTR i was wondeing if they improved problem in AA

For instance when you change a front size by 1km it takes awhile for the yellow box to change size. But I think this is a game time issue not a real time issue because when I increase the speed of the game these order changes go faster.

RE: An AI observation

<t> The issue is making the strategic AI better able to form lines when appropriate. Generically, I believe that the AI will be better overall if it forms lines too often rather than not often enough. But, perhaps much can be gained by not looking at the issue so broadly. In a divisional sized ...

RE:

<t> My impression was that these were almost exclusively used to fire directly. This may have been one of those things that changed from division to division. Since most divisions operated below stength it seems that having only 3-5 small guns firing indirectly would be a waste and this would ...

RE: An AI observation

<t> I recently finished the Arnhem campaign where the British are given the Airlanding Brigade plus the hurried up drop schedules and better dropzones. I believe this is a scenario where the British should be able to hold their own. Without too much monkeying around I was able to score a decisive ...

Yep

<t>After sending the message I thought day sounded more reasonable than week.<br/>
<br/>
I agree with your conclusion completely, although the supply depots, horses etc would have some effect of their supply level. I have found that the 6th Armee in the game shattered too quickly, but I haven't ...

Stalingrad

<t>The Germans in Stalingrad never exceeded 500 tons a week which was the minimum requirement. If memory serves me correctly though they only exceeded 200 tons for one week, when they first brought in Milch and he stepped up the campaign though took heavy losses. The weather was probably good for ...

load

Right the payload was 6000kg. The payload for the 88 was 3000kg. So the rating in the game should be double the 88? right?

Sensible

<t>That may be sensible within the confines of the game, but certainly does not reflect reality. Its prone to blow up, so we'll just fly it within 1000km range and call it fair? The plane was never used in this type of role. The probabilities of engine fire would increase drastically with the ...

Disband Unit

<r>Perhaps this already an option in the new version that I am not aware of...<br/>
<br/>
I think it would be a good idea to have the option to disband a unit. This would be useful when starting the 44 campaign for instance as the Germans so that you could disband all the very week infantry units ...
