C'mon now... Who cares what I rant here... But you know how this game is played - it's the developer who always cops it at the end if things go south, not Mr ...

You obviously haven't been listening.<br/>
<br/>
I don't hear any "whining" from the design team, and I think that this is an unfair characterization of their attempts to keep the potential customer base informed about progress.<br ...

RE: February Update

<t> Ardilla, spare me the crap. As a matter of fact, I cut code for a living and know software development in and out. But like that matters at all. Anyone with half a brain between his ears can figure out that this project is woefully behind and God knows what we'll actually get when it's released ...

RE: February Update

<t> I dunno if it's difficult, but it's not well managed, that's for sure. It's becoming a joke. <br/>
<br/>
It makes you wonder at what state this beast is really in when Marshall talks about 250K of lines and manages to drop a basic thing like maximum tactical rating while piling them.<br/>

This is crap, but just 80K of code nevertheless. You can read for yourself what the battle engine looks like ...

Origins release?...

So are you gonna release EIA for Origins?

David said once you were planning for big O. Since Marshall is talking here about the graphics, and graphics were supposed to be done last, is this thing stable enough now to bite the bullet?...

C'mon, it's about time.

EiH modifications

<r> Can someone from the dev team brief us what EiH mods have made it to the final (well, I *assume* you've got a code freeze by now) version?...<br/>

<t> Well, the units are just plain bad - they are too narrow and too tall. It's obvious it's not finished yet, but I don't really see the need for that "artwork" and 3-D crap.<br/>

I _hate_ cheesy little soldier figures, ornamental maps, pseudo-historical music and idiotic sound effects.

Wouldn't spend a minute of development on that crap but that's what sells the game to the uninitiated unfortunately.

Gimme the good ole corps counter!
