Detachment Pop-Up

I'm working my way through Tutorial 2 and am having trouble combining the two cavalry detachments in Milwa. I place the first as instructed but when I place the seceond, no pop-up menu appears. Please advise. Thanks.

RE: Austrians at ULM problem: 1st game.

Play hint, Forget Donauworth and move all but one Austrian corps back to Augsburg. Have the one remaining corps at Ulm bother the French LoC. Burn all front line depots.

RE: Should I buy this game?

<t> You won't be issuing many commands at the divisional/brigade level unless you detach them from corps. You can do that if you like micromanagement, but operational Napolonics is an exercise in corps command. You'll feel really odd if an enemy corps/column hits a detached brigade. Detached units ...

RE: Should I buy this game?

It's actually more operational than strategic. As I don't know why you didn't like UV, I can't address your issues.

RE: Thinking of buying this game.

<t> I would add that, at least in the 1805 campaign, the risks Nappy ran are underlined. If the Austrians maneuver to the southeast and disrupt French concentration, the Russians could prove to be a decisive threat. Austerlitz was close as it was. A few more French divisions being tired and the end ...

<t> It just worked now. Maybe a small glitch in my computer. <br/>

Just won 1805 short scenario as Coalition (min FOW). Kept Reisch at Ulm and sent every body else to Augsburg. I then sent Reish on a raid behind the French lines. French advance was held up because of this and the could never ...
