Looking for new French player

<r> Long-running game needs new player to take over France.<br/>
<br/>
We are using patch 1.807 (latest official) and a number of minor home rules, the most important of which is that players can not declare war on countries and then not invade them (in order to let another player have it as a ...

RE: reclaimed units bug

Hm, no, this was different. Spain simply received 10 infantry during the diplomacy phase, and was able to place them into existing corps during his reinforcement phase. Meanwhile, Turkey reclaimed 1 feudal inf (!) in Cairo!

reclaimed units bug

Feb log shows: France reclaimed 6 units

March log shows: Spain reclaimed 10 units, Turkey reclaimed 1 unit

Any idea where these could be coming from? How does the game determine what is a reclaimed unit?

RE: Comprehensive release

One more possible bug has crept in: reclaimed units. Spain just got 10 SPs that we can't seem to account for, Turkey got 1, and France got 6 last month.

Any idea where these could be coming from?

RE: Comprehensive release

<t> I submitted everything we had to Mantis, so I would hope that these things get fixed first,<br/>
<br/>
But, we would really like to see Spanish guerrillas fixed (or at least adjust the rulebook to reflect reality), and prevent non-hostile loaned fleets from being able to block crossing arrows ...

RE: 1.08.07 - finally, a solid version -

Marshall,

See the top 3 poss in the Tech support forum.

Mainly: 1) weird loaned fleet behavior, guerilla behavior that is contrary to the what is stated in the rules, and units in city suddenly showing up not in city.

RE: NAVAL oddities

<t> Marshall, we need you to explain this to us whether this was intentional. How can a Turkish fleet not at war with France (but allied and loaned to Britain, which is) block the French from crossing the channel? it seems odd that the French player could not intercept it on its way to the channel ...

Spanish guerillas

In our MP game, Britain was able to attack a Guerilla "corps" in an open field battle, yet the rules seem to suggest that this should be impossible, and that guerillas can only be attack using the anti-guerilla die roll, and if defending in a city.

Which is correct?

RE: how would this work?

Not to mention the loaned Turkish fleet in the channel that might or might not block french movement across.
